Damn! Beastie Boys rapper MCA passed away today. I remember my bro listening to Licensed to Ill all the time when it originially came out. (it was one of the 500 greatest albums of all-time according to Rolling Stone). That is cut right into my brain. I didn't really like the group all that much at first. I wasn't reallyinto rap. After awhile they grew on me. After all, the 90's were my era for better or worse.
With that being said, this group had a huge impact on music. MCA will be missed. And 47?! Man that's young. Here's what I've collected on the issue so far (RIP) :
