President Barack Obama is ripping the House for voting to defund the health care reform law.
Speaking at a Ford facility in Missouri, Obama criticized the House bill for tying funding for the government to pulling the plug on money for Obamacare.
The government will run out of money Sept. 30, without a bipartisan deal to extend funding.
The president said a government shutdown could indefinitely furlough hundreds of thousands of workers.
Meanwhile, defunding Obamacare is a non-starter in the Democratic-led senate.
"They're focused on trying to mess with me. They're not focused on trying to help you," Obama said.
President Obama said house republicans aren't acting for the good of Americans.
