More moms are using smartphones. Eighty-seven-percent of the mothers taking part in BabyCenter's "2013 Mobile Mom Report" use a smartphone, which is a 34-percent increase over just a year ago. And more moms are using the device for practical purposes.
Nearly 90-percent use their phones to search for information, and 81-percent keep organized through the phone's calendar and other functions. More than 60-percent use their phones for shopping, banking, and tapping into parenting social media.
